You’re not going to find a better hype man in college sports than Alex Spanos, the strength and conditioning coach at Northwestern. You could try, but you would not be successful.
Spanos has become famous for being the ultimate hype man over the last few seasons. Wearing his snug-fitting polo, Spanos is often seen slapping shoulder pads, dancing and bouncing around the sideline during Northwestern games.
His passion and love for Northwestern football has earned him some recognition from FOX Sports. The network anointed the strength and conditioning coach the Viral Sensation of the Year.

That honor goes along nicely with Northwestern winning the B1G West an Pat Fitzgerald earning B1G Coach of the Year this season.
Spanos has become one of the most recognizable strength and conditioning coaches in America. He might be a household name after claiming this title from FOX Sports.
