Fred Hoiberg is 2-0 for the first time in his Nebraska tenure. He gave a lot of praise to Huskers forward Blaise Keita.
Hoiberg was high on Keita after his 12 rebounds set the tone in the game. Nebraska went on to beat Omaha 75-61. Keita also contributed in the scoring department, with 9 points.
Keita’s physicality is something that Hoiberg loves to see from his players. Hoiberg will need this kind of effort to turn things around in Lincoln. Nebraska basketball has not had a winning season since 2018 under former coach Tim Miles.

It might be early, but Nebraska is looking like it has a solid team.
Nebraska faces St. John’s at the Gavitt Tipoff Games next away from home as it heads to Queens, New York. That game will be on Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. ET. Fans can tune into the game on FS1.
Can Hoiberg finally turn the tide and change the identity of Nebraska basketball?
