Jim Harbaugh is not on the sidelines for Saturday’s crucial rivalry clash between Michigan and Ohio State in The Game. The head coach will finish out his 3-game suspension from B1G commissioner Tony Petitti on Saturday with the Wolverines looking to weather the storm one more time to conclude the season.

Prior to kickoff, FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff was live from Ann Arbor with plenty of action leading up to The Game. That included an interview with Urban Meyer and former Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier, but the Wolverine fans in attendance made their presence heard.

With Shazier trying to talk in response to a question, a “Free Harbaugh” chant broke out surrounding the crowd. The “Free Harbaugh” angle is one that has come under fire with rival fans and some media pointing out Harbaugh agreed to the suspension after previously announcing fans to fight it, but the Wolverine faithful held strong to the idea.

The good news is Harbaugh will indeed be “freed” in a sense after Saturday. All that remains to be seen is if he will return to Michigan for the B1G title game and a potential Playoff bid or for a New Year’s Six Bowl.
