No. 2 Michigan and Wolverine Nation is set to end 2021 on a severely disappointing note as they are getting dominated by No. 3 Georgia.
There wasn’t much for Michigan to celebrate for most of the game until there was less than five minutes in the game when Michigan finally scored a touchdown.
Michigan freshman quarterback J.J McCarthy threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to freshman wide receiver Andrel Anthony off a play-action pass. While this play did not make too much of a significant impact on Michigan’s national championship appearance, it was encouraging to see two freshmen become future stars of Michigan.

Wolverine Nation has been vocal about wanting McCarthy to be the starting quarterback over Cade McNamara throughout the season. That touchdown in the game against Georgia will only add fuel to the fire.
Georgia finished the game with a 34-11 win over Michigan, who goes home in an embarrassing fashion.
