Let the hype begin.

ESPN College GameDay announced on Saturday night that it’ll be making its first stop of the year in Columbus for next week’s showdown against Michigan State.

It’ll mark the third time this year that the network will take its show to B1G country and third in the B1G East alone. GameDay visited East Lansing for Oregon vs. Michigan State in Week 2 and Ann Arbor for Michigan State vs. Michigan in Week 6.

The Spartans will be involved in their first GameDay contest, which is more than any team in the country.

The Buckeyes haven’t hosted College GameDay in five years. The last time they did, they picked up a 38-24 win against Penn State.

Control of the B1G East will be up for grabs at the 3:30 p.m. ET tilt.
