Garrett Wilson continues to have a great rookie season for the New York Jets. In the Week 14 road game versus the Buffalo Bills, Wilson caught a reception that pushed him to 852 receiving yards this season. This broke the franchise record of most receiving yards in a rookie season previously owned by Keyshawn Johnson (844).

In 13 games this season, Wilson has caught 101 receptions for 868 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wilson and fellow former Ohio State Buckeye Chris Olave are two of the top rookie wide receivers this season.

Wilson was drafted by the Jets in the first round (10th overall pick) in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He was the second wide receiver to be drafted in the 2022 Draft, two picks behind USC’s Drake London to the Atlanta Falcons.

Wilson finished the game against Buffalo by catching 6 receptions for 78 yards. The Jets lost to the Bills 20-12 as they are battling for a spot in the NFL Playoffs for the first time since 2010.
