Hoffman announced he is committing to Iowa, giving the Hawkeyes yet another talented prospect to work with at the TE position. In the process, Kirk Ferentz’s program edged out Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas and Arizona State for Hoffman’s commitment.

Hoffman is listed at 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds out of Blue Valley Northwest in Overland Park, Kansas. The 247 Sports Composite rates Hoffman as the 43rd TE in the cycle and the No. 7 player out of Kansas.
The TE prospect joins in-state WR Reece Vander Zee as players to commit to the Hawkeyes on Tuesday. We’ll see how Iowa rounds out the 2024 recruiting class as things are starting to take shape.
