George Karlaftis has generated consistent pressure and nabbed his first NFL sack during the first half of Saturday’s game. Taking on the Chicago Bears with the Kansas City Chiefs, Karlaftis has been in the backfield multiple times from his right end position.

His first sack came with the Bears facing a 3rd-and-11 in a sure passing situation. Instead of rushing to the outside, Karlaftis beat his man with a speed rush to the inside and burst into the backfield.

He was able to catch and drag down the QB for the sack:

After his first half of action, Karlaftis had registered 2 QB hits – including one against starter Justin Fields – along with his first sack and a tackle for loss. So far, Karlaftis looks like a perfect fit for the Chiefs’ defensive line.
