Even though George Kittle is an excellent pass catcher, he’s still one heck of a blocker as well.
During the 49ers game against the Eagles, Kittle took linebacker Eric Wilson to the ground for a full pancake block.

Even after the block, Kittle got up to celebrate to show that he absolutely loves blocking during games. Even Mark Schlereth spoke about the block in the video and said, “Look at him celebrate. He’d rather do that play-in and play-out than catch a ball.”
Despite this, he’s still not making fantasy owners happy as he has no touchdowns to start the season. He finished the game with only 4 catches for 17 yards, though it’s likely the touchdowns will come as the season goes on. Overall, Kittle has only 8 catches for 95 yards through 2 games.
It’s almost certain he’ll have another victim like Eric Wilson at some point again this season and it could come as soon as next Sunday when the 49ers take on the Green Bay Packers.
