George Kittle came back with a purpose for the San Francisco 49ers after missing a month due to injury.
While the 49ers were trailing 17-0, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo hit Kittle in the endzone, which made it 17-7. There was no chance any Cardinals defender was taking that one from him.

This was Kittle’s 1st touchdown of the season after he was on IR from the beginning of October until this past week. Kittle also finished the contest with 6 receptions for 101 yards, plus that score. It’s his best game stat-wise this season.
Before this game, Kittle’s best numbers came against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 26. He finishes with 7 receptions for 92 yards, with his longest catch going for 39. For the season, he now has 19 receptions for 227 yards, plus that touchdown from today’s game.
Having a healthy Kittle could do wonders for the 49ers’ offense as it’s been inconsistent all season. He’ll look to notch his 2nd TD catch next Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams.
