George Washington III, 4-star B1G hoops target, sets commitment date

George Washington III is getting ready to make his college decision.
The blue-chip combo guard prospect out of Ohio told stockrisers.com’s Jake Weingarten that he will be committing next week on Nov. 1.
Top-50 senior George Washington III will announce his commitment on November 1st, he told @Stockrisers. He took official visits to both Michigan and Wake Forest, other finalists include Louisville, Dayton, and Virginia.

Michigan hosted Washington earlier this month for a visit. Juwan Howard’s staff will soon find out if the visit went well enough to beat out the other 4 finalists for Washington’s pledge.
Washington is rated 4-stars, the No. 2 Ohio recruit, No. 9 shooting guard and No. 76 prospect overall in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports composite rankings. His other scholarship offers include Ohio State and Auburn.
