The semifinal matchup between No. 2 Michigan and No. 3 Georgia was supposed to be the best matchup this postseason. Instead, Michigan is laying an egg against Georgia on both sides of the ball as they went into halftime with a 27-3 deficit.

There were many questions on the efficiency of the offense for Georgia, led by former walk-on quarterback Stetson Bennett. Georgia, however, is having a record-breaking performance against the fourth-ranked scoring defense of Michigan.

Georgia has scored in each of their first five drives of the game thus becoming the first-ever team to score on its first five drives in a playoff game.

Georgia has the seven-ranked scoring offense in the nation (39.4) behind their well-balanced offense. Georgia accounted for 330 total yards on offense in the first half against Michigan.

Stetson Bennett has thrown 16-of-22 completions for 234 yards and two touchdowns against the 24th ranked passing defense of Michigan.
