Key Michigan defender likely out for season

Michigan’s defense looked vulnerable on Saturday.
For the first time all year, it allowed a 100-yard rusher. The Wolverines surrendered a season-high 527 yards to Indiana and couldn’t muster a big stop until double overtime.
It was clear they missed Ryan Glasgow.
The Michigan defensive tackle left last week’s game against Rutgers with a pec injury and didn’t make the trip to Bloomington on Saturday.
Following Saturday’s game, Jim Harbaugh provided an unfortunate update on Glasgow’s status.

Glasgow was one of the team’s key run-stoppers and had five tackles for loss in 2015. The Wolverines have now lost Glasgow, linebacker Mario Ojemudia and defensive tackle Bryan Mone to season-ending injuries.
That’s obviously a bittersweet postgame reality for Michigan. The Wolverines have showdowns coming up against a pair of elite tailbacks in Saquon Barkley and Ezekiel Elliott.
Michigan will have to find more consistency at the position than it had on Saturday, when it allowed Jordan Howard to rack up 238 yards on the ground.
