From 2012-15, Jim Panagos was in control of Rutgers’ defensive line. The Scarlet Knights had some success during those years, as in 2012, the team finished 9-4 and in 2014, they finished 8-5.
Panagos had success at Rutgers. He then moved around to multiple places and in 2019, was the defensive line coach at Minnesota.
We all know the success that the Golden Gophers had this season.

Panagos is going from a 10-2 Gophers team to a Scarlet Knights team that just finished 2-10. Why? Because he buys into what Schiano can do at Rutgers.
Schiano had the Scarlet Knights ranked at No. 7 in the AP Poll at one point in time during his previous tenure. With Panagos back in the fold, maybe magic can happen again in Piscataway.
