Guido D’Elia, the creator of the famous Penn State whiteout, has been brought in by Athletic Director Pat Kraft per Neil Rudel of the Altoona Mirror. He will now be a gameday consultant for Penn State.

Named as one of the best college football experiences, Penn State’s whiteout has been a staple as a must-go-to experience for any fan with Sports Illustrated calling it “The Greatest Show in College Football”.

During his seven years at Penn State, he was named Director of Football Branding & Communications. There he pioneered a recruiting web site and utilized social media while it was in its infancy.

He also created the “Penn State Football Story” which would showcase moments of the week and highlights. Now, D’Elia consults with numerous athletic departments and has helped several schools work on providing a special environment during game day.
