Gus Johnson was missing from the second half of the broadcast booth of the Nebraska-Oklahoma game. Fox Sports color analyst Joel Klatt, who took over the play-by-play duties for the rest of the game, confirmed on Twitter that Johnson is doing fine.

Johnson covered the play-by-play duties in the first half of the game before leaving with an illness. Oklahoma dominated Nebraska from start to finish by jumping to a 35-7 lead by halftime. Oklahoma finished the game with a 49-14 score.

It is unclear what the actual issue was for Johnson, but it thankfully sounds like a minor hiccup during a busy college football season. Hopefully, Johnson is right back behind the mic in Week 4.

Johnson did not miss much in the second half of Oklahoma’s beatdown of Nebraska through the second half.

This was the first game for interim head coach Mickey Joseph for Nebraska after the firing of Scott Frost as head coach after Nebraska’s 45-42 loss to Georgia Southern.
