Happy Thanksgiving! B1G teams take to social media to wish fans a thankful holiday

Thanksgiving is here and with it, the roll call of social media-inspired posts from different sports teams, all wishing a happy holiday.

And the Big Ten is no different. After all, there’s a lot to be thankful for around the conference.

Northwestern is thankful for an undefeated start to the season. Ohio State is thankful for Justin Fields and an elite receiving corps. Indiana is thankful – always thankful – for Tom Allen. And even teams that have struggled can be thankful we have made it to Week 6 of the season.

The conference’s football teams took different approaches to their Thanksgiving well wishes but nearly all incorporated some gridiron component into their message. And the branding, of course, was on point. Like the stuffing for any good Thanksgiving meal, you can’t forget to brand a holiday message.

Here is a rundown of how the Big Ten is wishing you and your family a happy Thanksgiving.
