Harry Miller, former Ohio State OL, to be a guest at State of the Union address

Harry Miller, a former Ohio State offensive lineman who retired from football because of mental health struggles, is expected to attend the State of the Union address on Tuesday night.
The White House invited Harry Miller, and he’s expected to be part of a select group from across the country that will sit in First Lady Jill Biden’s viewing box for the president’s speech, The Columbus Dispatch reported.
In a lengthy social media post, Miller shared that he had intentions to take his own life prior to the 2021 season, and told coach Ryan Day about them.
“He immediately had me in touch with Dr. Candice and Dr. Norman, and I received the support I needed. After a few weeks, I tried my luck at football once again, with scars on my wrists and throat,” he wrote.
Miller missed most of the 2021 season, but in 2020, he started 7 games at left guard for the Big Ten and Sugar Bowl champion Buckeyes.
Miller wrote that he appreciated the support he received at Ohio State, and he’s finding new ways to help players within the Buckeye program:
