Former Nittany Lions linebacker may have lost a bet to teammate Chauncey Golston over this past weekend.

Golston’s Hawkeyes beat Parsons’ Nittany Lions 23-20 and because of that, Parsons had to wear an Iowa jersey to team meetings this week.

Parsons was outstanding at Penn State in the 2 seasons he played there as he racked up 191 total tackles (99 sol0) with 18 of those for a loss. He also finished with 6.5 sacks, 5 passes defended, and 6 forced fumbles.

His best season as a Nittany Lion was in 2019 when he finished with 109 total tackles (52 solo) with 5 sacks, 5 passes defended, and 4 forced fumbles.

He skipped the 2020 season due to wanting to preserve his body for the NFL Draft and it seems like he has made the correct call. He got picked in the 1st round by the Dallas Cowboys and so far has 25 total tackles (17 solo) with 2.5 sacks in 5 games.

When these 2 colleges play each other again, expect Parsons to look for some payback on Golston.
