Indiana is strongly in the mix for a heavily-recruited cornerback out of Tennessee. The biggest competition is Big 12 power Oklahoma.

CJ Vogel of The Football Brainiacs reported over the weekend that 3-star cornerback Jaylen Lewis is considering Indiana and Oklahoma his top two schools right now. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound cornerback out of Brownsville, Tenn. has received 32 offers during the recruiting process.

Lewis has been on the radar for multiple schools out of the B1G and SEC. Out of the B1G, Lewis has received offers from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan an Michigan State. From the SEC, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee have all expressed interest.

Per 247Sports, Lewis ranks as the No. 20 player from Tennessee and is the No. 55 cornerback in the 2022 class. Overall, the defensive back is listed at No. 518.

Indiana currently has just one player committed to its 2022 class. Kaiden Turner, a 3-star linebacker out of Arkansas, gave his pledge to the program in early March.

Oklahoma already has seven prospects committed to the class, ranking No. 1 in the Big 12 and No. 7 nationally.
