It’s only been one week, but already the lines are shifting on the Heisman Trophy race. Some candidates had a strong enough showing to improve their stock. Or, maybe it wasn’t quite up to snuff, dropping their odds.

BetOnline.ag recently updated the odds for the Heisman winner following the Week 1 action. There are still several B1G names included on the list.

Trevor Lawrence and Tua Tagovailoa are still at the top of the charts, but there are six B1G stars with odds of 50/1 or better. Here are the B1G candidates:

  • Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin — 12/1
  • Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State — 12/1
  • Shea Patterson, QB, Michigan — 25/1
  • J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State — 40/1
  • Adrian Martinez, QB, Nebraska — 40/1
  • Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue — 50/1

Throughout the season, the odds in Vegas will continue to shift. We’ll see if any of those B1G names get better odds as the season progresses.
