Here are the B1G statistical leaders after Week 1 of the 2021 season

Finally, we’ve made it. Every B1G team played a game this weekend.

On offense, Michigan State’s Kenneth Walker III made quite the impression in his first game since transferring from Wake Forest and is easily the B1G’s leading rusher. Maryland QB Taulia Tagovailoa had the best passing performance of the week and Purdue WR David Bell was the league’s leading receiver.

Defensively, Illinois has 4 players in the top 5 in tackles and 3 players are tied for first in the league in sacks. Iowa’s Riley Moss and Nebraska’s Deontai Williams both have a league-high 2 interceptions, as well.
