Here’s what Scott Frost said ahead of matchup with Northwestern

Nebraska looked like it was going to pull off a major upset this past week against Michigan State.
But then, the special teams struck again.
Michigan State’s Jayden Reed ran back a punt with 3:47 left to tie the game up at 20 — a play that swung the momentum the Spartans’ way. Nebraska ended up losing 23-20 in overtime, but it wasn’t for a lack of effort.
Cornhuskers coach Scott Frost addressed the punt return in his weekly press conference Monday and looked ahead to this week’s home matchup with Northwestern. He also discussed the offensive line, which might see some changes this week.
Here’s more of what Frost had to say when he met the media Monday afternoon:
Frost said it didn't cross his mind NU was going to give up a punt return when it did.

Frost: "We're a tough team physically. We need to be a tougher team mentally."
"We're playing with a nasty attitude at a lot of positions, we need to play with a nastier attitude at a few others."

Frost said he talked to the team about getting benched against UCF his senior year and Martinez getting benched last year. Both situations turned out OK.

Scott Frost says NU has to "find a left guard" and "play a little bit better at right tackle."
"There's going to be expectations."
Frost said he had a long talk with the team this morning.

Frost brings up the hidden yardage killing his team again, like he did after the game Saturday.
Mentioned not fielding the backed-up kickoff cleanly following MSU's punt return for a touchdown.

Frost: "It seems like every week, a new problem arises."
Notes that they've had issues from fielding punts, and once that's fixed other errors arise like missing kicks, not punting properly, and more
