Michael Thomas is using the holiday season to give back to the New Orleans community. Though he isn’t searching for fame, one child’s reaction to the Saints receiver delivering a gift has gone viral on social media.
On Monday, Thomas visited the Oschner Health Hospital in New Orleans to deliver gifts and meet patients throughout the day. One child, who received a remote controlled car from Thomas, was ecstatic about his gift.
The interaction between Thomas and the child is making plenty of rounds on social media. Below is the video of Thomas dropping off the gift, and the kid’s reaction to it.

Meeting Thomas alone is a pretty cool holiday treat. But receiving a gift from the Pro Bowl receiver is even better. It’s easy to understand why the child couldn’t contain his excitement and enthusiasm.
Thomas is enjoying another outstanding season in New Orleans. He’s totaled 145 catches for 1,688 yards and nine touchdowns. The Saints are currently 12-3 and have clinched the NFC South crown.
New Orleans closes out its season against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday before entering the NFL playoffs.
