‘Home run hire’: CFB fans react to reports of new HC at Indiana

Indiana is reportedly set to hire James Madison head coach Curt Cignetti as its next head coach, according to a report from ESPN Thursday.

Cignetti has been the HC at James Madison since the 2019 season. The Dukes recently moved up to FBS in 2022 and likely would have reached a NY6 bowl as the G5 representative if they were eligible, finishing the regular season with an 11-1 record.

This is a fantastic hire for Indiana football, which just paid $15 million to buy out HC Tom Allen. It’s obvious the Hoosiers are serious about winning and this move reflects that.
