Former Texas quarterback Hudson Card made the reports official Monday evening; He will officially be transferring to Purdue.
That’s a huge get for the Boilermakers, who will be losing Aidan O’Connell after this season to the NFL Draft. Purdue will go on without O’Connell against LSU in the Citrus Bowl.

Card played well for the Texas Longhorns this season. He’s best known for coming in and playing well for injured QB Quinn Ewers against Alabama, taking the Longhorns to the doorstep against the Crimson Tide. Alabama went on to win, 31-29.
Card played in 6 games this season for Texas, throwing for 928 yards, 6 touchdowns and 1 interception as a backup option. He entered the transfer portal looking for an opportunity such as Purdue’s, and now he’s set to be the QB of the future in West Lafayette.
He will have 2 seasons of eligibility remaining.
