Hunter Nourzad has become a key piece for the Penn State offensive line after transferring in from Cornell. Now, Nourzad is not waiting to reveal his decision on what to do in 2023.
Tuesday morning, Nourzad revealed on social media that he will take advantage of his extra year of eligibility to suit up for the Nittany Lions in 2023. While he’s in the middle of the season, Nourzad will provide a piece for Penn State to pencil in and build around up front for 2023.
“I am grateful to be surrounded every day by a group of people who are hardworking, passionate and leaders in the community,” Nourzad wrote in a note on Twitter. “The coaches staff and my teammates have helped push me to be a better athlete, student and man. After careful thought and consideration with my family and coaches, I have decided to take advantage of my extra year of eligibility and return for my final season at Penn State in 2023. I am thankful for all the people in my life who have played a part in this journey. My work here isn’t done, and I look forward to returning to work alongside my brothers.”
