Hunter Wohler — key defensive back for Wisconsin — was not listed on the preliminary status report for Wisconsin’s Week 10 game.

On Monday morning, Wohler, a sophomore safety for the Badgers, is off the status report and could be able to play in Week 10’s matchup with Maryland, according to the status report where his name is nowhere to be found.

The Badgers have been without Wohler since Week 1 after sustaining a leg injury during its season opener. Wohler utilized Wisconsin’s bye week to practice reps with hopes of getting the chance to get back on the field again after missing the majority of the season.

Badger fans should be excited to hear that Wohler could very well be back starting in Saturday’s game, helping drive the Wisconsin defense. Over parts of two seasons with the Badgers, Wohler has accounted for 20 total tackles, 3 TFL and a sack.

We will keep tabs to see what happens this Saturday for Wohler and what the status is looking like. But, it seems as though he will be playing again.

Wisconsin will host Maryland at noon ET in a B1G competition.
