‘I don’t care what anyone says about this doggone game’: Indiana’s Tom Allen doesn’t care about underdog status vs. Ohio State

Indiana has its work cut out for itself on Saturday.
Despite the Hoosiers being a perfect 4-0, Indiana heads on the road to face fellow undefeated squad Ohio State. The Buckeyes have shown themselves to be one of the top teams in the country and are considered heavy favorites heading into Saturday’s tilt in Columbus.
While the Hoosiers may be considered an underdog, Indiana head coach Tom Allen doesn’t appear to be backing down.

The Hoosiers, and Allen in particular, have become one of college football’s feel-good stories. It started with the win in Week 1 against Penn State when quarterback Michael Penix Jr. just barely got the ball to the pylon to give Indiana the win in overtime.
Then, the excitement slowly started to build surrounding the Hoosiers. They came out of Piscataway with a hard-fought win against Rutgers. Then, Indiana showed up in a big way when the Hoosiers blew out Michigan in Week 3.
In Week 4, Indiana again passed a test as the Hoosiers went into East Lansing and shut out Michigan State, 24-0.
So far, Indiana hasn’t faced a squad like Ohio State. The Buckeyes are stacked with talent starting with quarterback Justin Fields. If Allen and the Hoosiers can somehow go into Columbus and win, it will likely be one of the biggest moments in Indiana football history.
