Illini land on Top 4 list for elite C, top 50 hoops prospect for 2021

Illinois has made the top four list for Mac Etienne, one of the best basketball prospects in the country for the 2021 class:

Besides Illinois, the three other teams that are on the list are Miami, UCLA, and Marquette.
According to 247Sports, Etienne is considered to be the 43rd best prospect in the nation and his composite ranking is 0.9811. He’s also considered the seventh-best center in the nation and the top-ranked player in the state of New Hampshire.
If Illinois can land Etienne, it would obviously be a big boost to their next recruiting class and it would give them the big-man they need for the future. He’s listed as 6-foot-10 and 220 pounds so he’ll be a menace down low at the next level.
