Illinois and head coach Bret Bielema adds another impressive high school prospect to their 2023 recruiting class.

Dixon is the 105th-rated wide receiver and the 23rd-rated high school prospect from the state of Ohio. He has 19 offers to play at the collegiate level with two official visits from Illinois and Wisconsin. He has other offers from Duke, Indiana, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, and Purdue.
Illinois has 20 commitments in the 2023 recruiting class as they rank 42nd in the nation and 6th in the B1G. They currently have the second-most commitments, along with Penn State, Iowa, and Northwestern, in the B1G behind Maryland at 21.
Illinois has accounted for an overall record of 8-4, which is the first time the Fighting Illini have won more than 7 games since 2007.
