Basketball season is just weeks away, and Illinois basketball released its promo schedule for the 2022-23 season on Monday. That schedule particularly includes a banner and ring ceremony honoring a share of the 2022 B1G title.

The first promo is trick or treat night, which will take place just days before Halloween on Oct. 28 when the Fighting Illini take on Quincy in an exhibition game.

Illinois’s first game against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 7 will be a Veterans Day Celebration.

Illinois players will receive their B1G Championship rings and the banner will be raised on Nov. 11 when they take on Missouri-Kansas City.

The Fighting Illini were B1G regular season co-champions after finishing conference play with a 15-5 record. They finished the season 23-10 before losing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Some other notable promo nights for Illinois include Krush Cancer night on Jan. 24, Replica Jerseys on Jan. 31 and Senior Night on March 2.
