Illinois basketball has three games over Thanksgiving weekend, so there’s not much time to spend with family over the holiday — even virtually.
But before the Illini’s game against Chicago State on Thursday, the starters were surprised with introductions from their family members over the PA system.

This is a pretty cool consolation prize considering the circumstances.
On the court, things couldn’t be going much better for Illinois. Brad Underwood’s squad has won each of its first two games by 59+ points and has produced stellar performances from Ayo Dosunmu, Kofi Cockburn, Adam Miller and Andre Curbelo.
Illinois will play Ohio on Friday in its final game of the weekend. Tip off is at 1 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
