Illinois freshman Andre Curbelo starts fast break with beautiful spin move

Illinois’ Andre Curbelo is having a solid freshman campaign, and he started a fastbreak against Minnesota with a beautiful move on Saturday.
Entering the game against the Gophers, Curbelo is averaging 7.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists while shooting 45.9% from the floor. Though Curbelo could start for many teams in the country, he has been a vital contributor off the bench this season for the Illini.
Early in the first half against Minnesota, he showed off his handles and court vision by facilitating a nice fastbreak score. It started with a rebound for Curbelo before hitting a spin move on a Gopher defender.
After that, Curbelo capped the fastbreak with a beautiful dish into the corner for a three-point shot by Jacob Grandison. Check it out:

Entering the break, Curbelo and the Illini are playing well against Minnesota with a 15-point lead heading to the locker room.
