Illinois freshman Kofi Cockburn gets help, and a little luck, with crazy alley-oop finish

Illinois center Kofi Cockburn is having a strong freshman season, but this latest finish undoubtedly had a bit of luck involved.
Facing off against Rutgers, the Illini are trying to keep a strong run going. Illinois has won three of its last four games with the only loss coming to a tough Michigan State squad.
The team was trailing at the time of this play, but it resulted in a bucket to keep the game close. It came with Cockburn setting a screen and rolling toward the hoop.
The alley-oop pass never made it all the way to Cockburn with a defender getting a piece of the ball. Though Cockburn never corralled the ball, he was the closest to it and made contact with the goal to help it fall in for the Illini.
