Perrin signed with the Illini in June after originally committing, but spent the first semester at Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas.
It’s hard to point to why Perrin left the program, but he was not able to earn minutes to back up Coleman Hawkins or Dain Dainja. He was a member of the Illini for less than a month.
