That’s a remarkable achievement on several levels — talent, durability and longevity.
Palczewski has started nearly every game of his career. The season-opener of his freshman season against Ball State is the lone exception.
He played guard early on in his career, but has now started 29 consecutive games at right tackle.
Paczewski was named pre-season All-Big Ten third team by Phil Steele and Athlon Sports. He’s also on the Outland Trophy watchlist.
Illinois is looking for its first win of the season on Saturday against Rutgers.
