Illinois continues to haul in an impressive group of players with the latest commitment from 3-star defensive lineman Jeremiah Warren. On Monday, Warren took to Twitter to announce his intentions to play football for the Fighting Illini just 2 days before the start of the Early Signing Period.

Warren is a defensive lineman from Belleville, Michigan. He is the 167th-rated defensive lineman and the 24th-rated prospect from the state of Michigan, according to 247Sports Composite.
Warren has 15 offers to play college football with two visits, Illinois and UMass. He has also received offers from Army, Central Michigan, Liberty, Navy, and Western Michigan. He is the second-high school prospect from Michigan to commit to Illinois.
Warren is the 22nd high school prospect to commit to play college football at Illinois, just 2 days before the Early Signing Period. Illinois currently has the 42nd-best overall composite recruiting class in the 2023 recruiting class. The Illini also possess the 9th-best recruiting class in the B1G.
