Illinois plays No. 22 Mississippi State in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Monday at Noon. The Illini and Bulldogs are both 8-4 on the season and should be set for what should be an exciting contest.

It was also be an emotional one. Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach passed away in December following complications with a heart issue. This will be Mississippi State’s first game without the iconic head coach at the helm of the program.

Illinois posted on Twitter Sunday that players will wear a Mike Leach sticker decal on their helmets for the game. Check it out below.

Teams around college football have made similar gestures in different ways. Of course, the game will be played at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Only fitting.
