Josh Imatorbhebhe is declaring for the NFL Draft, the Illinois wide receiver forgoing next season and chasing his NFL dreams.

This past season, Imatorbhebhe had 22 catches for 297 yards and three touchdowns. He was the leading receiver for the Illini.

In a social media post, Imatorbhebhe wrote that “My time here exceeded my wildest expectations and I leave here knowing that I am forever a member of the Illini nation.”

This past season wasn’t a great showcase for Imatorbhebhe as Illinois had one of the worst passing offenses in college football, coming in at No. 112 nationally. Injuries and instability at starting quarterback held the Illinois offense back.

Last season, Imatorbhebhe had 33 catches for 634 yards with nine receiving touchdowns.
