Despite sharing the state, Indiana and Notre Dame have steered clear of regularly scheduling matchups during the college football season. On Monday, though, the two schools announced a future home-and-home series.
Indiana and Notre Dame have confirmed that they have schedule a home-and-home series for the 2030 and 2031 seasons. The Fighting Irish will host the first game and the Hoosiers will welcome the in-state foe to Bloomington in the second.

The two schools have played 29 times in history, but the last meeting was held in 1991. Notre Dame owns a 23-5-1 lead in the all-time series and has won the last six games, which have stretched from 1951-91.
All six of the most recent meetings have been held in South Bend. The last time the two teams played in Bloomington was in 1950, a game the Hoosiers won.
