While there are plenty of questions regarding what the 2020-21 Big Ten men’s basketball season is going to look like, we got at least one answer on Thursday regarding college basketball in the conference.

Indiana announced Thursday the return of Hoosier Hysteria. But like most things in 2020, this year’s event will look a little different than what the fans in Bloomington are normally used to seeing.

Fans will have to watch this year’s Hoosier Hysteria online via the team’s Facebook page. The team is still looking for food donations that will benefit a local food back.

There is plenty of excitement surrounding this year’s squad. It’s the fourth season under head coach Archie Miller. Indiana returns seven of its top nine scorers. Things were looking up before the pandemic halted things as the Hoosiers posted a 20-12 record during the 2019-20 season.

Among the key returners include preseason All-American forward Trayce Jackson-Davis. He’s back after leading the team with 13.5 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game.

Besides Jackson-Davis, there is a lot of depth to this team and that includes the addition of Anthony Leal, who was Indiana’s Mr. Basketball in 2020.

Indiana’s season will kick off on Nov. 25 when the Hoosiers host Tennessee Tech. Then, Indiana will play in the 2020 Maui Invitational starting Nov. 30. This year, however, the tournament is being held in Asheville, North Carolina.
