Indiana is working on compiling the 2024 recruiting class with a bit of work to do heading into the summer. On Saturday, Tom Allen’s squad added a commitment for the cycle while beating out some B1G competition in the process.
The player is Javier “Jay Jay” Etheridge, a 3-star athlete out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to committing to the Hoosiers, Etheridge had announced a final 6 list that included Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest in addition to Indiana.

Listed at 5-foot-10 and 156 pounds out of Mt. Healthy High School in Cincinnati, Etheridge is a 3-star prospect. The 247 Sports Composite rates Etheridge as the No. 120 ATH in the country and the 49th overall player out of Ohio for the cycle.
Etheridge is just the 3rd player so far to commit to Indiana via the 2024 recruiting class. We’ll see how The Hoosiers round things out moving forward.
