The Indiana career for one forward is ending early.
Corey Evans of Rivals.com was the first to report that Hoosiers power forward Clifton Moore is transferring from the program. The news has since been confirmed by other outlets.
The 2017 enrollee out of Horsham, Pennsylvania was rated the No. 6 Pennsylvania product, No. 38 power forward and No. 151 overall recruit in his class on the 247Sports Composite. He chose to play for then-coach Tom Crean over 14 other offers, including Northwestern and Ole Miss. Crean now coaches at Georgia, should Moore be looking to reunite with his former coach. Moore is expected to have to sit out the 2019-20 season and have two seasons of eligibility remaining after that.
Moore appeared in only 15 games during Indiana’s 2018-19 campaign, averaging 1.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in those appearances.
The transfer will open up a scholarship for the Hoosiers.

Can confirm that Clifton Moore plans to transfer from IU. Will have two years of eligibility and a redshirt year left after two seasons in Bloomington. I believe @coreyevans_10 had first. #iubb
