On Sunday afternoon, Indiana already got a win on the recruiting trail when it flipped former Rice commit Brady Feeney.
Feeney, a 3-star offensive guard recruit, joined the Hoosiers to boost the team’s 2020 class to 13 deep. A few hours later, Indiana just got its class to now consist of 14 members.

According to 247Sports, Smith ranks as a 3-star prospect and is the No. 175 OT recruit for 2020 while ranking 50th among all prospects from Michigan. Indiana’s class, now consisting of 14 members, ranks 52nd nationally and 11th in the Big Ten.
Smith is the second OT recruit for the Hoosiers’ 2020 class, joining another 3-star prospect in Luke Wiginton.
