Count this as a consolation prize for Indiana.

The Hoosiers gave Ohio State all it wanted and more on Saturday, falling just short by the score of 42-35 despite a great comeback effort.

Indiana quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was sensational, throwing for 491 yards and five touchdowns in the loss.

One of Ohio State’s biggest fans — LeBron James — took notice. Here’s what he said after the game:

That’s pretty cool recognition for Penix Jr., receiver Ty Fryfogle and the Indiana defense.

Fryfogle set a career high in receiving yards for the third game in a row, catching seven passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns.

The Indiana defense picked off Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields three times. Prior to this game, Fields hadn’t thrown an interception all season long.

Despite the loss, the Hoosiers are still 4-1 and should be in great position to make a NY6 bowl appearance if they win out.

Indiana hosts Maryland this weekend.
