Indiana is well on its way to scoring a massive upset.
The Hoosiers lead No. 10 Michigan State by a score of 9-7 at halftime and the best part is that they’re doing it without scoring a touchdown.
In fact, Indiana hasn’t scored a single offensive touchdown in B1G play yet this season. It’s now been 10 quarters without a touchdown for Indiana in conference play
In the first half against the Spartans, the Hoosiers were able to sustain long drives, but they couldn’t convert them into touchdowns. The Spartans’ defense held strong on all 3 drives as they’ve been bending but not breaking all season long.
Kicker Charles Campbell went 3/4 in that first half on field goals with his longest being a 44-yarder. He missed a 55-yard attempt to end the half which would’ve made the score 12-7.
It was a real struggle for MSU in the 1st half, especially offensively. Its lone touchdown came off a Cal Haladay pick-6.
Quarterback Payton Thorne finished with only 34 yards passing on 4/10 completions and running back Kenneth Walker III only had 22 yards rushing on 10 carries.
The 2nd half is about to kick off and it’s being televised by FS1.
