Indiana will be honoring late head coach Terry Hoeppner and the Hoosiers’ 2007 Insight Bowl team during this Saturday’s game against Georgia Southern.

The Hoosiers have special “Hep’s Rock” uniforms on Saturday, honoring the former head coach who passed away prior to the 2007 season due to complications with cancer. That year, Indiana finished the regular 7-5 and reached a bowl game, fulfilling Hoeppner’s goal to “Play 13.”

Indiana fell to Oklahoma State in the Insight Bowl 49-33.

After last week’s game against Florida International was canceled, the Hoosiers are returning to the field for the first time in two weeks and will put their 1-1 record on the line against Georgia Southern.

Saturday’s game is set for 3:30 p.m.
