Indiana basketball head coach Archie Miller delivered some grim news about guard Armaan Franklin earlier this evening.
Franklin won’t just be out for Thursday night’s game against Wisconsin, he’s going to be out indefinitely:

Franklin suffered an ankle injury during Monday’s game against Maryland and didn’t return to the game after only playing seven minutes.
He’s been one of the Hoosiers best players this season as he’s averaged 12.7 points per game. He also has been averaging nearly five rebounds per game and about two assists per game. His best game came against Illinois on Dec. 26 when he had 23 points with two rebounds and two steals.
The loss of Franklin couldn’t have come at a worse time as Indiana has a gauntlet of tough games coming up. After tonight’s game against the Badgers, three of their next five games come against No. 23 Michigan State, No. 5 Iowa, and No. 15 Rutgers.
Indiana is currently eighth in the Big Ten standings with a 7-4 record.
