Indiana picked up a commitment from Northern Illinois defensive tackle transfer Weston Kramer on Wednesday night.

Kramer announced that decision on Twitter:

Kramer is using his fifth year of eligibility to play for Indiana. All players received an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA due to the pandemic.

In four years with Northern Illinois, Kramer amassed 3.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss. He also made 95 tackles. Kramer produced multiple tackles for loss in each season with Northern Illinois.

Indiana has been extremely active in the transfer portal this offseason. The Hoosiers have now picked up commitments from six transfers, including three who left other Power 5 programs. Kramer is the third defensive player to transfer to Indiana in this class.

Kramer is originally from Summit Argo, Illinois. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds.
